This book and the Zoweh weekend event were absolutely life changing for me. For many, many years I struggled with many of the common lies about God that Michael Thompson describes in the book - that God is distant and God is disappointed with me. Learning to unsubscribe from these lies and truly allow God access to bring healing to my heart has been nothing short of transformational in my relationship with Jesus and in my marriage & family life.

What is beautiful about this book is that the author is writing from personal experience and not just studied conviction. There is a artistic blend of scriptural truth, refined in the crucible of personal life journey. Every man should read this book. Do it with a friend or an older son or your dad.

This is an excellent book for men of any age and has been instrumental in shaping the way I see myself and my Father in Heaven. This book has produced real, tangible results in my Life and in the lives of many other men that I've had the opportunity to go through it with. While it is a great book to read on your own, I think it is even better when a small group of men adventure through it together.

The Heart of a Warrior is a thought provoking journey into who, why, and where we are in our lives, and what's available for those that choose to awaken to a new realm of truth and freedom. Michael carefully leads us through a discovery process, opens our hearts to an awareness that we are made for more, and offers a path to freedom for all who are willing to fight for it.

I am on my third read of Heart of A Warrior. Each time through this book helps me better understand my own experiences as a beloved son of God and to more clearly see how walking with God is opposed in today's world. I would recommend this book for both men and women wanting To heal from their past, walk closer with Christ and battle well against the evil that opposes them.

Great book for men to read that are tired of religion and performance driven theology. Truly inspires a relationship with our creator. Highly recommend.
